To make it more sustainable for the environment as well as the budget, a CNG kit can be installed, such as the DI-60 by Landi Renzo tested on the 1.2 TSI Comfortline with 105 CV launched in 2014. This is a dual fuel system that injects a mixture of gasoline and CNG to safeguard the parts subject to wear and maintain performance unchanged. It costs 2,200 euro, has CNG autonomy of about 250 km with a 10 kg tank and is able to cut CO2 and pollution and save over 40% on fuel costs. The Golf 1.2 costs 22,050 euro and has a good level of standard equipment.
