During the Siam, the international car exhibit of the Monaco Principality, the new Challenge Ecorally has been officially presented.

This race is dedicated to ecological vehicles that are fuelled with hybrid and/or Bioethanol E85, Hydrogen, Biodiesel, Methane Gas or LPG listed in the Fia classes VII and VIII . It will consist in three different races: from April 11th til 14th the Sanremo Rally, April 27th and 28th The Historic Italian Marathon in the Pavia province, and finally the last one will be the last weekend of September in occasion of the 13° San Marino Eco-Rally. The first three classified of the Challenge, in collaboration with the Montecarlo Engineering Racing Team and the Alfa Racing Club, in addition to the usual trophy will win the chance to drive the new LPG 200HP Alfa Romeo Mito Quadrifoglio that has been created for the Peroni Championship Tournament Race.
