There are still too few ecological circulating cars: considering all of the alternative propulsions available, we reach 10.7% of the fleet in circulation, compared to 9.8% in 2019.
LPG, with 2,678,656 vehicles, representing 6.7% of the car fleet, methane with 978,832 units 2.5%, hybrid vehicles are 542,728, 1.4% and electric, 53,579, only 0,1%. This is the data that emerges from reading “Self-portrait 2020”, ACI’s statistic publication that photographs the vehicle fleet of Regions, Provinces and Municipalities as of December 31st, 2020.
