Innovauto 2019

On February 13, 2019, in Milan, the fourth edition of the event entitled IKN Italy "Innovauto - a connected ecosystem for a new driving experience" took place.

Thanks to the direct comparison with the Top Managers of mobility, it will be an opportunity for networking and analysis aimed at investigating the directions of the transformation of the sector and the new technologies enabling change.

The initiative will explore the potential of partnerships and new technological assets with a view to interoperability and interconnection, especially with the advent of 5G.

During the plenary session there will be the contribution of the Municipality of Milan and the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport on the regulatory and infrastructural response to the mobility revolution, as well as a focus on the news of Rental Services & Car Sharing.

We will try to answer questions such as: will e-commerce revolutionize the process of buying the car? How to combine experience in dealerships with digital experience? What will the new models of contact after sales be? And yet, in terms of customer experience on board, the connected car will be a smartphone with wheels? Finally, a private session dedicated to the evolution of the car fleet: what will be the engine of the company fleet, between diesel and electric?

Among the 40 speakers who have already taken part in the initiative, we should mention: Michele Crisci, President and CEO of Volvo Italia, Franco Fenoglio, Italscania CEO, Luca Bedin, Head of Volkswagen LCV Volkswagen and Andrea Leverano, Managing Director of DriveNow Italy. There will also be an international contribution by Ford Lyons, Ford of Europe, Business, Partner & Strategy Development, Connected Vehicle Platform & Products Organization, on how to collaborate with startups with a view to developing connected cars.

"The automotive sector is in turmoil and Innovauto represents the" where to be "event to take stock of what will happen in the next 3/5 years in the mobility sector, which is increasingly moving towards the so-called V2X (Vehicle- to-everything) allowing the connection of means of transport between them and the infrastructure ", says Martina Francesconi, Project Leader of the initiative. And he concludes: "This is why the institutions and players like ANAS and Telepass could not be missing, as well as the voice of Carmakers, Dealers and Insurances".
