One of the problems that all LPG installation workshops face is emptying and securing LPG tanks, with the associated risks of LPG storage and the inconvenience of vapors in the rooms.
In order to work in peace and to raise your safety standards, the recommended solution is to equip yourself with an LPG recovery station. We talked about it with Mr. Spartaco Lombardelli, founder of Punto Gas, an Italian company specialized in the automotive sector, who presented the new version of the LPG recovery station Rec Gas at Autopromotec 2019. The LPG is emptied using a pneumatic pump that allows to transfer the LPG present in the tank into storage cylinders outside the vehicle and then refill with the same LPG by means of a dispensing gun. The system also allows the chance of reclaiming the emptied tanks by flushing them with nitrogen and making them suitable for disposal.
