Recently also Suzuki has announced the availability of hybrid LPG cars for the Italian market.

These are two great examples of technology developed for sustainable mobility – states Ecogas Consortium, the association that represents the operators in the LPG field and of methane for auto traction – as both the systems are efficient and are a benefit for the environment and pocketbook. The car owner who wishes to use the advantages offered by electric and gas propulsion together has another alternative nowadays: the after market transformation. In fact, there are regularly homologated LPG plants available on the market. The testing procedures at the UMCs of the Motor and Vehicles department are the same as those already established for petrol vehicles and the modification to the motor is simply recorded on the vehicle’s registration certificate.
