The law- decree n. 17 introduces urgent measures for the electric energy and natural gas cost containment, for the development of renewable energies and to relaunch industrial policies.
The founds allocated amount to almost 8 billion euros, 5,5 of which will be employed to face the energy costs and the remaining part to support the productive sectors that are suffering the most such as automotive and microprocessors. Once again, the founds for the purchase of non polluting vehicles or that necessitate of after market intervention are included in this provision. With the Ukrainian crisis a second law was drafted, which in addition to cutting excise duties (page 17), intervenes on the containment of energy and fuel prices with economic support geared to protect businesses and provisions on humanitarian aid.
